Terms of Service

By accessing or using Narralo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Narralo. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Narralo. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the Service.

You may use certain features without an account. To access personalised features (Word Bank, story library, progress tracking), you must create an account with a valid email address.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@narralo.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

Narralo uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate stories, translations, vocabulary explanations, and learning exercises. You acknowledge that:

• All stories and translations are AI-generated and may contain errors
• AI-generated content should not be relied upon as a professional language or educational assessment
• Content may occasionally include regional slang, colloquialisms, or idiomatic expressions appropriate for adult learners
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or cultural appropriateness of AI-generated content for every context

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
• Use automated means (bots, scripts) to access or generate content at scale
• Share your account credentials with third parties
• Use the Service to generate, store, or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or offensive
• Circumvent any usage limits or access controls

Free tier: Narralo offers a free tier with limited features.

Premium subscription: Narralo Premium is available for $4.99/month and grants access to the Word Bank, spaced-repetition practice, and additional features. Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Account Settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Refunds: Refund requests within 7 days of initial purchase will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@narralo.app.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

The Narralo name, logo, and application design are our intellectual property. AI-generated story content produced through your use of the Service may be used for your personal, non-commercial language-learning purposes.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service or its content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

When you provide additional context or details for story generation (e.g., location, scenario descriptions), you grant us a limited licence to process that input to provide the Service. You retain ownership of any original text you contribute.

You represent that any content you submit does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NARRALO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through Account Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before resorting to formal proceedings.
